Second day: Kayak for six hours across the gulf. Enter the mangroves of the Esquinas River if the tide is high, view caiman and crocodiles, camp on jungle beach. Third day: Kayak back to Puerto Jimenez.

Horseback Ride, Bike and Kayak Adventure (4 people min) This intense adventure is only for the fittest. Day one: Horseback riding in jungle to river lodge. Explore, hike or relax first day. First night at lodge in platform cabinas. Day two: Mountain bike on forest trails, breaks for snacks,
Water and wildlife viewing. Bike to Playa Blanca beach and camp for the night. The last three days: kayaking on the gulf with the same itinerary as the Golfo Dulce kayak adventure (see above). Includes guide, all equipment, meals.

Golfo Dulce is one of only three tropical fjords in the world. Commonly seen aquatic marine animals include geotropically spotted and bottlenose dolphins, humpback whales,
leatherback and olive ridley turtles, whalesharks, tuna, sailfish, marlin and rooster tail. The gulf waters are calm which makes kayaking easy.
