The lodge rents out a six bedroom Costa Rica condo rental. Each room comes with all the comforts you will find in a normal Costa Rica hotel, including mosquito nets and showers the bathrooms are shared.

In the main lounge, there are plenty of hammocks where one can relax after a hike through the Osa Peninsula, The verandah looks out into the plantation and is a great place for bird watching.

The Chocolate Tour

Your Costa Rica guide will lead you to a traditional cacao plantation where he will explain the history of this culturally significant plant and how chocolate eventually reached Europe. Moving on to what are called biological corridors, he will explain the plantation’s importance to the surrounding nature. For example, how the biological corridors allow animals to move safely between the farms. The final part of this Costa Rica trip gives you the chance to observe the process of making chocolate from fermentation to its transformation into pure chocolate.
